Flying carps
« on: April 15, 2007, 03:23:02 PM »
saw around 6-10 carps jumping straight up...they weren't little ones either,i've never seen so many carps jump like that.It was a cool view to watch though.

Anybody here try to fish them?

I watched a show on the Outdoor Channel, "Lee and Tiffany" and they were bowfishing for "flying" carp. They only jumped as the boat ran the big motor.

I saw a report about a woman that was hit by one of these things while riding a jet ski. Darn near killed her!

All i saw were most of their heads....they were too big to even get their whole body out of the water. They looked like water acrobats.Heads coming straight up then going straight down.
