....that Sunday I was so ate-up with cabin fever (due to all the rain) that I took a chance and headed to city park lake.  Didn't rain for awhile (just drizzle), but I had my rain gear coat with me just in case    .  It finally  opened up and came down steady, but I just stood my ground and kept on casting and retrieving.  On the way home I stopped at Lake Pee Wee, as the rain had subsided for awhile, and spent about 20 minutes there.  The lake water is way up, and about 1/3 of the dock was submerged under about an inch of water.  I stayed at the high-water mark on the dock and fished awhile until the skies opened-up again    .  Didn't get any bites at either place, but it was fun........and quiet......except for the rain beating down on my hood-covered noggin   

Yes at least you got to go fishing.

I love to see someone else fish in the rain, but since I am like sugar I would melt in the rain and so I do not fish in the rain.
