Going after work!
« on: November 09, 2006, 03:37:29 PM »
It's currently 71*, sunny, very slight breeze.  In exactly 25 minutes when I pull out of the parking lot from work, I'm heading directly to city park lake and fishing (hopefully catching).  I have my rods and tackle bag in my truck and ready to go.   :bass

Forecast for Saturday: 52*

Like I told the neighbor yesterday; ?If she wasn?t off today I?d be fishing!?
Wife had to work on her birthday, Wednesday, so yesterday was her day. Did small jobs around the house, some shopping, then dinning out.

Uh, WW you might want to check that forecast again. They are now showing Saturdays high at 44*.

So did ya catch any?

Well, it was actually 78* instead of 71*   :) .  Fished until 5:40 (yep it was already dark), and didn't catch or even have a bite.  There were about 3 other people there and they didn't get anything either.  I think the fish went south for the winter.  Tried weightless Tiki Sticks and a couple of spinnerbaits, but no luck   :(

Yep, gonna be cold Saturday.  My two grandsons (6 & 8) from Louisville are going to be in Owensboro playing in a Pee Wee Football championship, so we'll be there tomorrow.   :)

Thanks, Carter   :) .

Scott, you're correct, gonna be a cold one tomorrow!  It was absolutely killing me to be at work today, with the temps in the hi-70's again.  If we wouldn't have had an assembly at school today my butt would've been fishing.   :)

Woke up early this AM (yes this is early, even for me) to some kind of banging noise. Turned out it was my boat cover flappin in the wind. Temp. 45*, wind 17 to 25 mph. out of the north.
Back to reality!
