PS when was the last time he "didn't" see his shadow?Everytime i take interest in that little bugger he gives me 6 more weeks of winter. >:(

I heard on the radio this morning that out of all the years of looking for his shadow, he's only seen it 39% of the time.


.....And I think they need a new groundhog.    :)

Thats teh way i've always thought about it. I hope it starts to warm up in Feb but I don't expect it to until around teh middle of March.

For the most part I can gauge how winter is going by my yellow bells out back. There's maybe a dozen yellow bells on the bushes where normally this time of year they are well on their way. We're in for the long haul looks like.  ;D

I was born on Groundhog Day. When I came out of  :o...well when I came out I saw my shadow that day. I also saw it this past Groundhog Day. But it appears we are having six more weeks of the "winter" we have been experiencing so far and that is a good thing. We will be in the 50's again today and rest of the week.
