Heaters
« on: November 16, 2006, 10:39:45 PM »
For those that fish when it's "cool" outside...What brand name, model, size, etc., heater do you have and use whilest fishing? I'm thinking of getting something to put in my boat for those cold days on the water, so if you don't mind, throw some suggestions my way.

Thanks!

I thought about something like that.  I'm sure it wouldn't be powerful enough to keep your whole body warm, although they do make bigger ones, but at least you can warm your hands with it.

A freind of mine who does a lot of winter fishing buys about 6 hand warmers.

And he places them in pants , shirt, and jacket pockets and he says he stays warm most of the day.?????

I don't need a heater.  I have good gortex clothes and boots a hood for my head that doesn't let air pass and decent gloves.  A friend of mine wears a heated vest but I haven't seen the need for it.  I can't see a heater in the boat because of the mess and possible problems it could cause because I normally move around a lot.
