I think I'm going tomorrow
« on: February 02, 2010, 12:32:43 PM »
I still have a bunch of ice and snow on my drive and the street isn't clear.  I went out a while ago and had to use 4X4 to get back in the garage.  The boat side has more on it and I know I could get it out but I doubt I could get it back.

So I called the COE at Pomme de Terre and was told the roads down there are clear and some ramps are open.  I called Bigfoot and told him the good news.  He has a snow blower and has a clean drive.  I think he will go if the wind is lower than 12 (sissy).

He will only want to fish for specs and toothys but fishing is better than sitting in the house. :D

Gman I won't be trying out the new tubes because we will be wayyyy off the bank fishing for those deep specs.  It is up to you to try them out. ;D

Good luck.  You beat me to that one.  I was going to tell you to throw them a few times and see how they do.  I guess its all up to me now.

Catch a bunch of fish and bring back some pictures so I know what a fish looks like. ;D

Bigfoot is very camera shy and won't take pics of me so I'll prolly leave it at home.  Maybe some pics of keepers at home if we get any. ;D

We have rain/snow forcast for Thurs and Fri.  If it doesn't slickery things up, I'm going to try to get bear to go on Sat.  Maybe we will toss a few tubes while we are out but the bass have been very slow in this neck of the woods and guides say specs on Stockton are 50-60' deep.
