New Bass Pro Catalog, got yours yet?
« on: May 06, 2009, 07:05:50 PM »
Got mine today. When I opened it I noticed something I'd not really noticed before. I started turning pages and went straight to the spinnerbait/buzzbait section(pg. 142 btw :)) and looked at the buzzbaits. I realized today, that I do this everytime I get a new one. So, what section do you turn to when you get one(any fishing catalog really). ;D

or are you a front to back looker ;D

Later!

I look at the entire catalog, but for some weird reason I start at the back of catalogs/magazines and work my way to the front.   :scratch

I’m a “Thummer”. I start at the back and let the pages flip until something catches me eye.  ::)

I would have to say it is the soft plastics, jigs and line that I pay most attention to.

I usually look at the boats for some reason.

Maybe to see how underpowered they are in the catalogs to make the price look better :)

Reels,rods,lures and last terminal tackle.

I skip anything to do with boats and clothing.

man, no kidding!!! i really like ebay for most buys nowadays. though i do get a nice $20 off coupon from bps every year that makes it worth it to place an order.

If i drive one way to bass pro shop around here it's 45 minutes...then another 45 minutes back. That's easy $10-$15 in gas money alone on my car.

That being said...i don't mind the shipping cost that much.

It's over 60 miles one way in any direction from my house to one on my obamameter. I spotted a few things I might HAVE TO order soon regardless of tax, tag, title. I'm about out of business in the buzzbait dept(I only have a 50 wounded ones left ;D) and need to replentish my arsenal. Can't find what I need around here anywhere!
