Spear fishing Bullshoals

anyone on here do this?  I'm going to try it in about 2 weeks.  I'm looking for some walleye and some cats.

Not me.  I don't have any diving gear, spear gun or training.  I have always heard it was lots of fun but I'll never know except vicariously.  Shoot a bunch.

G I don't know anything about that sport.  The end of the lake where you will be should be clear as gin.
