what a weird day at work
« on: April 11, 2010, 11:30:18 PM »
I have a small, small pond at work that me and my new buddy(jason) went fishing this Saturday. We were just screwing around since i brought my spinning reel/rod with me and decided it would be fun to just make a few casts. We had on there a 3.5" tube and a bluegill came up and hit it.I couldn't believe the size of the sucker....Since i didn't get the weight, length or girth....it could have very well been a state record bluegill. The thing ATE a 3.5" tube whole!

Funny thing was I got paid to go fishing that day....It's nice to finish work early and walk to the pond outside work...LOL. And to think....I've been working there over 5 years and never thought to fish the dang pond before...

We know there's Bass in there....I lost one about 10 minutes to clock out time...no telling how big it was...but it was a "decent" size.  ;D It's nice to have a guy at work share the same passion for Bass fishing that i do...

Sounds like there may be more fishing than working going on out there before long. ;D

Indeed....I'm going to have to start keeping a 2 piece rod in my trunk for these occasions again... ;D

Usually our Saturdays is the only time we can goof off like that.

Must be sweet to have such a little honey hole at work. I reckon that you might start coming it earlier to get some fishing in.  ;D

That is awesome.  Pretty soon you'll start holding picnics and BBQs too.  ;D
