Seen plenty of discussion about the best fighting fish,..but what do you think is pound for pound, the WORST fighting fish?

Over all I'd have to say walleye, but those guys can bite my hook any time they want cause of the way they taste. ;D

Yep, walleye. But I have to agree with Jigman that they are always welcome to bite my line ;)

For me it's a tossup between a walleye and a small stick!  Very hard for me to tell the difference when I'm reeling it in!

I dont understant the walleye one.  The ones I've caught fought good.  Actually more then most bigger largemouth I have caught.  Alot of LM are just fat and lazy.  Might be because the walleye were river walleye and not lake walleye.

Yeah,..I think anything in a river is a lot harder fighting than the same fish caught in a lake.  I haven't caught many walleye, but they've all been lake-fish and they've all come near winter,..so that could have a lot to do with it too!

I think a LM Bass over 8 lbs is the worst fighting fish especially if the water is a little cold.

I agree with ya there dt.  My personal best was about a 6 lber caught last January, right before freeze, and I thought I was reeling in a tree limb until I got it up close.  No fight at all.

Crappie is another as Culprit said.

the worst fighting fish I ever caught personally was a Shiner ....

that someone must have used for Bait during Ice season and it survived ... and went wild .... Im telling you there is no fight in this fish ..... they pull on your bait or lure .... and you dont even have to set the hook .... just reel in when the time is right .... and presto Shiner on the pole .....
In loving memory of mjcolegrove.   RIP Mike.  You will be missed.
