That bad storm that blew through here did worst damage than i though.

I went to this dam area,a place i don't visit too often.Well we have a 3-4 foot metal wall that is holding the water in right by this dam.It follows down to huron river i believe.I went there today and there was over 60+ fish just laying in a big puddle of water.A few walleyes, bunch of bluegills, bunch of carp(i think that what they were) and like a few small bass(LM & SM mixture).I talked to one of the guys there and he said it wasn't anything compared to yesterday. So i'm assuming birds, animals and a few people probably picked up some of them. This is just one spot...that i know of.

Oh yeah..only caught one fish...a 14" white bass on a tube. The thing fought like a smallmouth river bass. That current is making those fish stronger. ;D

Grim I don't understand.  Is this a pool that was made with high water and now the fish are trapped?

Nope it's a dam that flows into the river.Water flows like a river system, they put up a few 100-200 feet long of metal sheet fence 3 foot high to direct the water flow into the main river.Somehow with all that rain, the water overflowed over the fence and took some fish with it.The fish are now trapped on the outside portion of the fence just dieing off not being able to get back into the river sytem.I don't know if it was waves that brought them over the fence or the fact it just so much rain that it risen over 3 foot allowing the fish to swim over that wall barrier. The fence is put there so nobody falls in and gets killed by the current. It's a safety issue for people.

If you think about it...the water was up over 3-4 feet in order to over spill onto the land. That's one heck of a flood!

I'll get a picture next time i go out there...it is kinda hard to explain.
