I guess I'll start it
« on: October 27, 2006, 10:06:04 PM »
I like Ike, and I like Tony Stewart, for certain reasons.  Ike can fish, and he can win against any angler out there,  including Rick Clunn who is my idol.  But I have to admit that in my eyes, Ike is going to be around for a long time.  He has done some bad things I agree, but so has Jimmy Johnson and look where he is this year.
Just conversing, we are all padres and no need to dislike because we disagree.  So let me have it.

He is consistent for sure, the only pro I think shows too many negative aspects is the G-man, sure he had reasons but he's got to remember to keep it off tv.  I'm use to other boards having too many argumentative members instead of the civilization of this board,  I just wonder if the ones who dislike Ike for the bad things he may have done, bad influence he or sportsmanship he may have shown, or if it is just his personality that they don't like.

Its like any other high profile athlete you either love em or love to hate em. Thats what makes em so popular.

I will say this; If someone were to scream like that when I was fishing with them I might just jump overboard from fright!
BUT I would give up my best buddy?s right index finger to get a chance to fish with him. The guy obviously knows what he is doing.

Ike does seem to have calmed down some   :banana .  Yes, he'll be around quite awhile, because he can does know how to catch 'em!  My favorite angler is KVD, and NASCAR driver.....well, look at my avatar, lol.   :)
