KVD wins #6!!! He is simply amazing! It sucks for Skeet and I was really pulling for him and Russ but with this format he just didn't finish the season the way he started.

I heard someone compared him to Tiger on camera sometime ago, and Kevin set them straight rather quickly, lol.  :o :o

i wonder when kvd gets older will he still be able to fish i know from watching him he is wide open all day it seems like it would take its toll after awhile

Well, I'm older than him and I still keep on going. I think a lot of it is mental attitude. Of course there are times when the body will give you a little reminder that there are some things you should not do or should at least slow down a bit. :)

im talking more about his fishing style hes a power fisherman to the extreme and he fishes super fast when gets older like biffle for example will he still be able to fish at the speed he does now

the dude is incredible...not so sure i agree with the format because it is for angler of the year, not angler of the last few tournaments...but what ever. props to KVD on AOY, and props to skeet for having one of the most incredible seasons in a long, long time in BASS.

i just kinda had the thought if there were two extra season tournaments liek there used to be before they shortened the season if skeet would have bombed in them he still could have lost aoy

It's like any other sport. You bust your end all year to make the playoffs and when you get there, you have to perform. If you don't someone else gets the big prize.  ;D

If anyone has ever played sports the saying goes "You have got to finish" and Skeet can cry all he wants to but he didn't finish. I know he had a great season but he was all for the format until he finished 2nd to the KVD 2 years in a row. I personally like the format but I also wish they would put the other 2 tournaments back into the schedule and fish the postseason in the fall.
