87 ranger comanche 150 yamaha pro-v
« on: May 13, 2009, 10:29:15 PM »
"I just recently bought an 87 ranger comanche 373 18ft with a yamaha 150 pro-v...I truly love the boat but the steering is very tight and stiff. When i take off, the boat wants to go to the right pretty bad and i have to use a lot of force to keep the wheel still. Is this my cables.... or what? .the boat isnt that hard to steer when idling around...just when you fire down on it. The boat comes out of the hole well...and runs 60+mph. I am hoping that it just needs a lube job...I worked my but off to get this boat, and i really hope its an easy and inexpensive fix.."
