Crucial Warranty
« on: April 25, 2010, 01:07:47 PM »
Friday I snapped off about 6" of the tip of my Shimano Crucial when I was taking it out of my rod locker.

Would that be covered by the warranty and if so how do I go about it?

I think Jeremy at WnW told me that Shimano had a over the counter return policy as long as they had the model in stock. All you would have to pay is shipping for them to return the rod to Shimano.

As long as they don't ask for a receipt JJ they won't know lol. They will be compensated for the new rod I'm sure.

Technically this is something not covered under warranty. You can ask the dealer to see if they will exchange it for you.
