I put both of my 200E7s on identical rods and after 3 trips the one that had the tic doesn't make it any more. Changing baits, etc I have lost track of which reel it is.
I like them so well that I sold 3 setups to a guy from NE this week and went out and bought 2 more E7s. I used them on Tuesday (really nice).
My old CU200s, which I supertuned and had Ian put bocas in, were secreaming machines when run dry. I was getting 50 yds out of them on a 6.5' rod and 1/2 oz plastic casting plug (from my drive across my yd an empty lot and my neighbors lot to his drive. The new E7s cast a 3/8 oz casting plug to that drive and over it. They are really nice. I'll bet they do better when things slow down and I send them to Ian for a good cleaning.
