sweeeeet, I'm getting ready to pour some more plastics.  I bought me a respirator today for pouring lead and plastics.  I highly recommend using one to whomever isnt.  I already used it putting in insulation.

Lets see some pics when you are done.  I will try to post some plastics pics too.

If I am in error forgive me, but, all masks are not the same. Filters that keep fibers out (insulation) do not keep gases out (fumes) that requires a different type of protection. Please be careful.

Big Mac has a good point G.
Ventilation is the best method to prevent breathing harmful fumes.
If you have a quality mask you should be able to buy filters to cover the conditions. Next problem is knowing exactly what kind of chemicals (air borne) you are being exposed to.

Yes ventilation is #1 but I took extra measures.  Thanks to a chemist I know he helped me out.

here is the one I bought per his recommendations.

Its for lead and clorine + other materials.

This thing works great.  i was pouring plastics with it on and couldnt smell the plastic melting which is usually pretty strong.
