Bulk blades?
« on: July 29, 2007, 10:23:47 AM »
I was wondering if any of you knew where I could get plain, bulk, size 4, colorado blades cheaper then $38 per 1,000. Thanx, Swizzle

OK, just a heads up for those thinking about ordering from Hagan's. I ordered some blades and beads almost a week ago and I called them today to check on the status of my order. They haven't mailed it yet and wouldn't have mailed it for an additional 3 or 4 days. In my opinion that's way to slow when I already have request to tie more and I still have to paint the blades when I get them. I cancelled my order and my account and went with the worth company and I'll be getting my order in 3 to 4 days. I'll be paying roughly $81 + S/H for 1,000 size 0's, 1,000, size 2's, 1,000's size 3 and 1/2 plain colorado's and 1,000 size 3 and a half hammered colorado's. In total 4,000 blades. Can anyone give me a good place to find airbrush paint for these in a variety of colors. Wally World is pretty limited with the colors. Also if anyone knows were to get the blades even cheaper I would really appreciate it. I'm also looking for the best place to get round and round facated beads in a variety of colors by the 1,000's. Thanx, Swizzle

Well I plan on doing a lot of tying. Last time I tied crawler harnesses I tied over 50 in a few hours and I'm hoping that this is going to be my new side business and maybe my full time hobby. Its good money once you have the stock up but its getting the stock built up that sucks. I'm selling my tackle by the card and there's a dozen pieces on each card. I figure when I get really going and get a system set up I'll be able to tie 200 to 250 harnesses a day. Swizzle
