fluke mold

Does anyone that pours their own plastics have a fluke mold. What I'm looking for is a fluke style bait that has alot of salt for the weight. Something that sinks as fast if not a little faster then a senko.

Don't have it don't catch much on Flukes. Have you tried nail weights or even carpet tacks to help get them down. Last spring we used carpet tacks (left the nail weights at home) on wacky rigged worms to get them to sink the way we wanted.

never put much thought into it. good idea on the carpet tacks/nail weights. That would give me a slow fall but faster. which I'm looking for. The weights up front make the nose drop and I dont like the weighted hooks.

GMAN,
If you ever do get a mold and start doing some, let me know. I could at least help you defray the cost of some plastic by buying a few from ya.

I found a bait over this week that will fit my needs. Its a kickerfish shad stick. Part senko part fluke its sweet. I tried one and it sinks faster then a fluke and can be fished like a fluke or senko. Its sweet.

GMAN,
I have seen those, but have not fished them yet. I think you made a great choice with them, and look forward to seeing some of what you catch on them!!
Best Wishes,
Rob
