'bout that tube thingy from last week.  I made an introductory order of $294.  I was supposed to get an email the next day with an invoice and a tracking number.  Didn't come.

Waited 'till the southern donkey came by today.  It wasn't in his pack either.  So I called.  It turns out that they were out of what I ordered.  The guy said, "It came in today and is on my desk (yada yada yada).  It will ship tomorrow.  You will be emailed a tracking #."

We'll see.

This is evidently a new Cajun mom and pop place out of a garage or something.  I'll give them the benefit of the doubt as they are on several sites and have a good rep.

So what I am saying is don't look for any funky tubes till a week or two from now depending on how much snow we get and how fast the brown truck goes.

With the initial outlay, maybe I should make your tubes for you, after all you have a new boat and a woman to support. ;D

Well the stuff finally go shipped and left New Orleans at 4 this morning.  I should get it by the big snow on Friday.

If you wanted a basic tube mold, cwen from the other site has his for sale on underground.  I didn't see it till my order was already in.

I ordered 2 of the 3 1/2" molds, the new ones with the tails formed and don't have to be cut.  I also ordered 1 gal of the Calhoun tube plastic.  When I talked to Bear he recommended that I use the medium Calhoun's since the tails don't have to be cut.

They left N. Oleans at 9 this morning bound for St.  Louis I guess.  If the roads don't get bad they should be in Spfld sometime tonight and maybe on my front porch by tomorrow pm.  I sure hope so because we have a bunch of white stuff coming.
