it is a poes look alike but they are balsa. Eventually I will try some cedar but not yet.

GF, I'm not very good at this. Still in the beginner phase. I'd be afraid I'd mess it up real nice like for you.

Ha, Ha that's making me smile.

I ran across 4 of em that are cracked. I guess at some time or another they must have swelled a little enough to crack the finish. I'll never use them like that but if the crack was sealed I'd probably put em back in the boat. I like them. Are these baits still in production? I haven't seen em for sale lately.

I used a carving knife and a little block of balsa. Lots of time too.
