it is a poes look alike but they are balsa.   Eventually I will try some cedar but not yet.

Ha, Ha that's making me smile. :D I ran across 4 of em that are cracked. I guess at some time or another they must have swelled a little enough to crack the finish. I'll never use them like that but if the crack was sealed I'd probably put em back in the boat. I like them. Are these baits still in production? I haven't seen em for sale lately.

I used a carving knife and a little block of balsa.  Lots of time too. :o
