I should have listened

Some of you cautioned me. Now I can't get it out of my mind. Thinking about building a ginormous ( for me ) fluid bed to paint an entire rack that will fit in the toaster oven .

Am I crazy?  Skip to the next question.

Will it work?

Anybody ever tried this?

Bad idea ?

Have you ever even painted a jig with a fluid bed?

After the answer then we'll proceed.

BTW:  How is Stevo and the big black dog doing in the truck with this weather?

I've been contemplating the same thing.  My problem is the amount of paint you will need and how to affix the hooks to the rack so they dont move in dipping and excess paint knock off.

two small gear racks sandwhiched together ...to hold you hooks...just a thought. Shouldn't cost very much

I'll see if I can find a pic.

grainger, allied and motion Ind. all may have such an item.

He is apt to get a big dose of Stockton in today's tournament.  I awoke to 24 mph winds this am.  They are supposed to get over 35 mph today.  That lake gets insanely big wakes at that speed and the fish were 10 or so miles up stream into the teeth of that wind.

I don't paint with vinyl because I don't have any.  I have always used powder.

Well it was blowing hard here all day yesterday. Today, still blowing and raining to boot. Seems like we get 1 &1/2 day good weather for every 10 not so good. Doesn't give much time for spring yard chores or FISHING . :-[
Ya think a guy can fish up there if he can get there?

Paint :  When powder coating, does the paint fill the line tie eyes?
Do you powder coat a white or some type of base primer before the color you want?
Do you guys add a sealer?
