I make from 1/8-1oz jigs either round head or poison.  My main colors are browns, blacks, greens.  I dont go crazy with the colors.

Its pretty simple and straight forward if you bought pre made heads.  I have found when you put the skirts together with the plier tool its best to roll the silicone before trying to put it through the band.  If its not rolled the skirt might rip apart and you will have threads that are 10x's harder to put in.

Bud I make a couple of thousand jigs each year.  I make them from 1/16 oz for my FnF rig to 3/4 oz for deep big bass fishing.

Here are some of my FnF patterns.

These are some finesse jigs.

And a few of the 4 sizes of craw jigs I make is about 10 colors.

There are lots of way to put them together from fly tying thread to wire to rubber bands.  I use them all.  You might want to visit www.tackleunderground.com.

I bought the football heads painted with weedguards.  I order Barbed wire skirt material and Nature's edge skirt material with pliers and extra 100 bands so I will have something to play with for a few days
