Just dropped 50 bucks
« on: April 06, 2006, 03:07:54 PM »
at Janns net craft.

I got some 1/0 hooks for 1/8 oz jig heads, 4/0 for 1/2 and 3/4
and a casting net to catch shad.  Hopefully I can catch a bunch to throw in the honey hole.  Maybe I can get those fish bigger.  They need something to eat.

i got bit by the  :chimp  today. my dad told me he is going to go get his boat from the shop, then he popped the question " I am running by the hunting and fishing show room do u want me to pick anything up for u." And that place has senkos for 4 buck a pack. so i told him to get me 2 packs of senkos, 2 terminator spinnerbaits, and some strike king 3X Z TOOs.

I got a couple of new goodies yesterday.  Been thinking I wanted one more rod and reel specifically for crankbaits and to do double duty for some topwater fishing.  So I got a new loomis CBR843C.  Since I've liked the quantum spinning reel I recently got I thought I'd try one of their baitcasters too and put a quantum E761PT on it.  I had hoped to try it out today but didn't get a chance and headed out of town in the morning until Sunday night so looks like Monday may be the first chance.  :(

ka4,
Which Quantum spinning reel did you get?  I recently bought the Catalyst Pti (40 series) and it's great.

Well I got all the goods yesterday.  I will try to pour the heads this week if I can.

The casting net, what was I thinking :o  I'm gonna need some practice with this thing.  Good thing I have long arms I might end up throwing it like a frisby.

I remember you talking on the basspro forums about not spending money. heheh. didn't work out so well huh?

I'm the same. I just spent $250 at basspro in hooks, weights, senkos, crankbaits, and some stowaway boxes for the tackle box. I ended up having to run to wal-mart and grabbing another tackle bag to hold the stuff.

:( :( and i've already got another $40 in my basspro shopping cart that i want. the girlfriend is going to love it, lol....gives her an excuse to go shopping. rofl

Good thing I bought a ton of stuff about 2 months ago, I'm starting to itch from the restraint of no tackle purchases.  I didnt know it was this difficult.  Its been what a week so far.  Only 53 more days.
