I got the new shipment of skirts in today. I had ordered 600 and Red had ordered herself 200 fire tail skirts. She told me she wanted some white bass jigs made up with bigger than normal hooks but smaller than normal bass hooks.

So I took down my molds and found one 3/16 oz spot in a modified Banana mold. By heating and reshaping the hooks I turned the 2/0 90° hooks into 2/0 60° to fit the mold.

Next I tied up a couple straight jigs. Red came out to inspect the job and told me she didn't like them and to make them with the fluffy collar. She told me what color heads she wanted matched up with what color skirts. (That is where the made to order comes in.

I hope the sandies hit them. If they don't I guess we can use them for drop shot weights.

I can hardly wait until she is ready to go fishing for lmb and gets her order out. Looking at the options along with football, arke, pt, round, etc. There is no telling what she will have me making.

One of us did. Since she caught a 6# on here "hula tube" last summer she has been paying a lot more attention to the baits and setups than she used to. She used to just take what ever I had on here setups and fish with it but not any more.

Next thing you know, she probably won't be happy with here 5 setups and want some new rods and/or reels.

She doesn't do hand me downs very well and especially doesn't like bc reels. That is why I am having E_bassfisher redo a couple of my old ones.
