I bought a shad body stinger from Jacob's.  They remind me of tad poles that I used to play with when I was a kid.  It looks like what we have been using and litterly cow killing crappie on this fall and early winter.

I have some fav colors that I make in my slab buster (which by the way isn't working this year) and Bobby Garland doesn't make them in his shad body baits.  I tried for two days to make a mold and things just didn't work out.

I'm already looking at how to make 2 colors when it gets here which should be T or F.  I also asked him to send me a sample of his blood worm and minnow tail shad body.  I may want them also.  I am really getting into this crappie stuff since my best friend gave up bass fishing after 30+ years of tournaments and has turned to crappie.  We have caught about 500 in Nov and Dec.  I have to eat them once a week to get rid of them before they move shallow in April.

I'll be looking for some field testers when I get to pouring.  Jacobs molds don't fit my store bought injectors but for 10 bones he has an adaptor.

Have you figured out that I am going nuts with this weather.  I even bought a couple of used tube molds and built new nose inserts to suit me.  If I still burned wood I'd have something to do.

that thing is cool.  I guess the injection molds have now taken over.
