Multiplicity I can't decide
« on: March 12, 2009, 10:31:10 AM »
I have a lot of options and have been tinkering around with some skirt combinations for some swim jigs.  They are silicone and silicone/living rubber combos.  So far I only have one of each of these in 3/8 oz pt and am trying to decide which one/ones to make in different sizes.  I can't decide which ones to make in multiple sizes and maybe different heads.

So swim jiggers, which if any, of these would you make say 3-4 of trying to decide what will work best.  The last thing I need is a bunch of jigs which won't work.

The first one is my favorite, and probably would be my choice.   If you added some light blue at the top it would look like the sexy shad color.

GMAN with making 4 of each in the 5 head patterns in the 3 different sizes that would be 5 dozen jigs.  I really am trying to cut the numbers down since I already have more jigs than the law allows.  :o

I have an idea!  You make up some of them, since you are the pt mold owner and let me know which ones work best in MO. ;D

Nice,
Not sure if you have this color handy, but I had Gman make these up for me last year, paired with a matching swimming chunk. :o

Joe I don't have the blue.  All I have is royal blue in living rubber.  Maybe GMAN will send me a few of those blue skirts. ;D

Did you make the swim chunk or buy the mold?  It really looks good.

I personally really like number 5 out of all of them.  Thats my favorite.

Joe has almost all my material like that.  Its the same blue I use in black blue but I dont have much smoke left.  Joe liked it too much. ;D

Yep, you may need to order some more before fall gets here too. great for swimming through the pads when they start dying off in late fall :o

Those are, as usual, very pretty baits!  However, I think if you have black ones, white ones and that brownish one, that you will be able to catch fish 99 days out of 100 that they are biting a swimming jig!  It's mainly a reaction strike,..I don't think they have time to inspect the color before deciding to bite!  Just my $.02
If you're a fisherman, ya gotta fish!

1,3 and 5 would be my favorites..........I'm like JackJ, add a little blue to no 1 and you have yourself a killer swim jig!!

I will try a little blue.  Would you add it to the top or bottom of the jig?
