Excellent job on the trebles! What type of feathers did you use? I really like that brown color. The smallies at one lake I fish have a thing for that shade of brown.

The crankbait is pretty cool too. If you want to protect the paint job all you need to do is place a light coat of Dev Con 30 min. Epoxy.

Nice work! I once painted a deformed Deep lil N (Norman's) similar to that....couldn't keep the spots off of it! I eventually lost the thing. It was water-filled from a crack in it so I sealed it like that...it would sink like a rock!, but boy would it wear'um out!

The brown with the little bit of litebrown tip is the TIP TOP off a turkey feather.  On these Feathers I didnt cut them like Island bass does I just cut next to the vein that keeps the feather inside of the turkey.  The White and black is the feather of a Domesticated Turkey. I dont know why they are sooo differnent from the normal ones.  And the Brown is the middle feathers of a turkey that I just cut off next to the vein.  Well I hope this cleared it up and if you want me to describe it better PM me.

EH its o k I am wating for my Popper that I painted to dry then I will post some pics of that.  The dressed trebbles are too big for the lure. When I was reeling it in today it just spun in circles so I think just the topwaters need a trebble job.
