« on: January 04, 2006, 01:01:59 PM »
Has anyone used this line before.  I've used there flourocarbon low viz and love it.  But I ordered some copolymer and just wondering if its good.

Haven't used it but copolymer is my line of choice (other than braid), especially when it is flurocarbon coated.

I haven't messed with the Cabela's co, but I did order some of their mono a few years ago and didn't care for it.  It handled great, but it was super stretchy.  At the time I remember thinking it was a lot like Big Game.  I use their 8# FC on my spinning rig and really like it.

If you want a good cheap line try out the Triple Fish.  A guy I know called them and got a sample pack with the new XXX line in 15# and just messing with it straight off the spool it felt pretty small in diameter and low stretch.  I thought their standard line was cheap, but this stuff is like $16 for 3000 yds.  I hope they start making it in clear.  I know I probably sound like a broken record, but I have been very happy with their line and their customer service.

Never tried triple fish before.  I also like the cabelas flourocarbon.   Main reason I bought the cabelas co polymer is for backing for my flourocarbon, braid, and pline cxx.  Also to see how good it is.
