it looks alot like the old lews reels its a david fritts edition bass pro shops reel i got it and an american rodsmith 7foot medium action cranking rod for fifty bucks never even used

Cut, I am pretty sure that reel does not have the "stopper" bearing in the crank so it will have a little backlash in the gears like most all reels use to have. David Fritts once said he wouldn't fish with a crankbait reel with the anti-reverse gizmo in there. The reel has no frills and is most likly akin to the Lew's reel that I have if I am not mistaken. Lube it up with some hot sauce and get to work.

i got about a 50lb duffle bag full of soft plastics for 25 bucks and a couple of buzzbaits ::)

i got them without even checking them out much didnt wanna seem to interested i thought they were ur buzzbaits but they were 3 or 4 year old lunker lures dont think they were the ones u have been drooling over trying to find oh and by the way that guy was a freak glad i took my pistol

if it's a 4.7 to 1 your probably not going to be able to keep anything off the bottom without wearing you out other than a crankbait.
