Since we are not on the BPS forum I thought I would ask this question.  Just wondering which you guys/gals like more.

Well I really like them both about the same.   No stores near me with either, so Im just judging the online stores.

i like bps little more then cabelas, just because the lean toward fishing more then cabelas. but i do like the bargain cave that cabelas has and they have more lucky crafts lures to chose from too.

Well here's  one thing that just got me po'd at Cabelas....

Saw this rod...  They call a "All-Star All American Classic"

http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/templates/product/standard-item.jsp?_DARGS=/cabelas/en/common/catalog/item-link.jsp_A&_DAV=MainCatcat20166&id=0036203120402a&navCount=1&podId=0036203&parentId=cat20372&navAction=push&catalogCode=2UF&rid=&parentType=index&indexId=cat20372&hasJS=true

So I did a online chat with the Cabelas customer service and they told me that the rod is not the same as an "All-Star American Classic".   Very Deceiving!!!!!   They even call it an American Classic and not an All American Classic in the text of the description.

As stated already I prefer BPS as well, they seem more fishing orientated and have a wider selection.

I picked BPS.  I seem to buy more lures from them, but Cabela's sends more discounts out.  If I'm buying a big ticket item like a rod or reel I'm usually going thru Angler's Paradise & Marine though :P

Both good. BPS is in my area.  Cabelas, I have to catalog and order.

Cabela's service is generally better:
Fewer backorders of stuff they said was in stock when you ordered over the phone,
People in customer service that usually can find someone, anyone, to answer your question or address your problem intelligently (unlike BPS and some of their nasty service reps - the cute sounding ones have real attitudes!)

Both have decent delivery times (epsecially since BPS got away from UPS)
BPS has a better selection
Sales are better at BPS, but supply is not guarenteed

Honestly, I love them both! There is only one thing about Cabela's and it's not that big a deal, they(Cabela's) have a better selection of Yamamoto Senkos. There's a lot of soft stickbaits out there, but non of them perform as well for me as Yamamoto's do.
