i bought a couple the other day just to see what they are all about and let me tell u the most god awful looking jig uve ever seen out of the water but when you put them in the water they are really something else really like the way the heads designed along with the hook and rattles

Do you feel like there is enough there to fish it without a trailer ? Or do you use a trailer anyway? In a case like that would you use a trailer because you felt it was necessary or would it just be a confidence thing?

Bass don't eat what they don't see.

How do these compare to GMAN's mop jigs?

looking at it out of the water id say yeah id use a trailer but once you see it in the water i dont know that its really nessecary it would have to be a really long trailer to be able to stick out past the skirt

I have some of GMANS mop jigs; about the only trailer I own that sticks out past the skirt is Paca Craws. I’m not sure it’s needed but when you twitch this rig it really has some movement to it! It is a HUGE offering.

I read an article about them and It says that you should use a trailer like a Zoom Chunk.

It might look to big, but a mop jig is really meant to help jig fishermen weed out smaller fish.

Think of it as a really big swim bait. You won't get bit as much but when you do it will have some size.

Good Luck

its not that it looks too big or is any bigger than my normal jigs because i like to use two skirts on one jig but the skirts so long nothing much sticks out past it
