The only thin I got fishing related was 1 package of Storm WildEye swim baits, which was given to me by my sister in-law of all people  :o

She did good though! ;D

I participated in a couple of fishing forum Secret Santas but I got the best Christmas Present in getting two pictures, one of my daughter catching her first bass and another of lil' ol' me with my biggest bass of this season in a locally made bass book!!  Yee hah.

I got a new Pflueger Trion cranking reel and a KVD Tour Cranking Rod to go with it. I fished with it on Lake Jordan last Saturday and I have to say that my wife did a really good job. For a woman who has never had anyone in her family take to the outdoors she has done a really good job on fishing gear. Or the people at Woods and Water have some knack of picking out who my wife is  ;) ;) and telling her what I need.

My brother did a good job getting me the Penn Battle spinning reel and the St. Crioix rod. And my girlfriend got me an ice-fishing rod and reel, an ice scoop for the hole and a couple of baits. She is from Minnesota so I am hoping this means she wants me to go up there with her sometime while the ice is on. We don't usually get that kind of hard water around here.
