Cold water favorites
« on: December 09, 2009, 09:44:50 AM »
What is your go to favorites in the cold water?

Mine is a finesse jig typically PBJ or a greenish color with a 2" jig trailer.

4" tube in green pumpkin or black with purple flake

Jerkbait would be a smithwick custom paint rogue.  Red back, yellow sides

Thats about all I fish this time of year.

Mine would be a 1)shad pattern jerkbait
2) a finesse jig with pork trailer
3) tube
4) a small beaver on a jig head

Bass don't eat what they don't see.

I would have to go with

1  Shakey head with a 5 inch green pumpkin power worm
2  Jerkbait.....blue or black back shad color
  3  Shad color crankbait
  4  Single arm Spinnerbait

White 4" tube is #1  melon pepper tube #2  pumpkin seed tube #3  I used to only fish a jigging spoon but that was when I only fished Table Rock and caught fish 50-60' deep in timber.

Small tubes or a small plastic worm.  I try to get around wood and work the bait slow.

1/4oz jig and pig, drop-shot, small and extra large worms worked extreeemely slow either on a jighead or texas rigged, med. runner crankbaits, spinnerbaits and of course buzzbaits ;D
