There is a DIY scent recipe on the pages here somewhere. But, I only use two scents persay. One is the spike-it dye in garlic-chartruese spray and C.B.'s Hawg Sauce. I'll see if I can find the post and put a link in here.

I saw a guy once that had a can with solidified bacon grease in it once. Dont know if it worked for him or not but he always used it.

As far as that goes, I know a fellow that use to use Ben-Gay. Both for his hands and his plastics.

I've heard of people just rubbing a garlic clove on the bait,....personally, I've used (with good results) some garlic-flavored cooking spray (like "PAM"..). I would also guess that the garlic powder in vaseline would probably work too!
