Wow,  how in the world did I miss this topic.

Anywhoo,

I mostly fish a 1/4-3/8 shaky head I make.  Usually with a pointy tail 5.5" worm or 4.5-5.5" robo worm look alike

i basically just throw the spot remover brand  with the screw lock in 3/16oz   with a yum dinger or my new favorite zoom magnum finesse and trick worm one thing i do like to do in the summer fishing ledges is use the magnum spot remover 3/8 or a little bigger and use a zoom mag II or zoom ole monster worm on a 7foot medium heavy or heavy rod and fish it really deep its just a different look than a carolina rig or texas rig and sometimes makes a big difference

Spot Remover jigheads as well as a football jighead all work well for me in and around the rocks. Spot-Stalker jig headS(but it has a guard) is one I use sometimes. For ticking the rocks and above, I would use a darterhead jighead, I typicially stick with a quarter once across the board except with the football heads, I may go a little heavier to a good bit heavier.

I'm a big fan of the Spot Remover with a 4" Air Viper Softics 3pc worm.  My 2 biggest largemouths last year hit that...

I used to use the Davis Shakey Heads until I started making my own shakey head jigs. I normally use a 1/8 to a 3/16 but when I'm around alot of rocks I usually loose quite a few jigheads. Thats why I started making my own.
