Fishing gear
« on: February 28, 2009, 08:57:51 AM »
Pondhopper and I made a trip to our local Gander Mountain yesterday. I picked up a few bags of 4.2 inch Sweet Beavers in a variety of colors. Also picked up a few bags of Berkley 10 inch Power Worms, with wide gap hooks and sinkers to to along with all of it. All I need now are a couple of new baitcasters with rods and I will be set. They may have to wait because of the unfortunate chain of events! Seems I had a major clogged drain and had to call a plumber (they aint cheap) And my wife had a few unexpected doctor visits (they aint cheap either). But all is good and can't wait to hit the water. Now, can someone do something about this weather? :pray

Maybe he'll let you put some of your new beavers on his new Gman jigs. ;D  Jigs and beavers can be a deadly combination in the early spring.

I guess I didn't make myself clear.  Pondhopper is the one with the jig tied on his line.  You are the one who is handing him a beaver. >:D >:D

With this weather ?

Clear blue skies
Very few scattered clouds
Sunny
Winds under 5 mph
Air temps in the low 90´s

Man, all I can do is to go fishing !

Nope, same old bathtub I´ve always had, it´s named "LATINASESINA" ( "the killer bathtub" ), the one I cartop on DA FEECHIN MACHINA.

Fancy names for an old ´93 Ram Charger SUV and a 12 ft tub, that´s all I need to go fishing ...... not to mention the 20 grand ( give or take a few pennies ) in tackle.  :D
