Fishing Shoes
« on: August 15, 2009, 10:21:46 AM »
The most comfortable fishing shoes I have ever worn...

Shimano Evair Fishing Shoes

Marks Outdoors has them on sale for $19.99 while supplies last.  (Reg $39.99 there.  $49.99 elsewhere that I have seen)

While they may be as comfortable as all get out...I suspect they'd leave some undesired tan lines. ;D

Basically same material.  Little extra padding on the bottom and better treads.  They look cooler than the crocs and you wont be made fun of as bad since they are Shimano :)

I have wore my crocs out, thats why I bought those.

I think I'll stick with my open toed sandals (Teva's),...those look like it'd be impossible to get a pebble out from under your foot without taking them off!

Of course, that's what they are made for :)   And it helps when I have to step in the water on occasion for one reason or another being water proof.

I have always worn Crocs because they are super comfortable and my feet and back start hurting real bad with other kinds of shoes.   The Crocs were the only ones I found that kept them from hurting, and with these being even more comfortable I hope they work as well or better on my back and feet.

Crocs didnt have anti-slip treads on the bottom so I slipped a few times with them, so these I hope with the better treads will give me more grip also.

People seem to call us guys that wear Crocs names and laugh at us, but I never cared because I knew how much better they made me feel at the end of a long fishing day :)

The only reason I didnt get any was they never made Croc's in my size. I'll have to look at the Shamoo link again to see if there is a size chart on there. They're better looking than my pair of $13 left-footed boots I have for winter fish'n! ;D

Ha! When I was at Marks I noticed they had some size 12 there.  They may make them bigger.
