GMAN pours a mean fluke
« on: June 21, 2011, 05:04:34 PM »
you don't see em on his website so I'm not sure if they're still available, but i'm pretty sure they are. I've been destroying them lately on weighted screw locks (which I'm glad to see you make now) Zooms fluke falls nose down on a keel weighted hook for some reason, but gman's fall parallel with the bottom, which is kinda the point of a keel. plus they're a bit more heavy so i can cast them further, or throw em weightless when the bass want a slower fall, or worked/skipped along the surface. i'll be placing an order soon.

Hey Brushhoggin,  good to have you aboard.

Ahh, crap.  I sold that mold awhile back.  I guess now I'm kicking myself since i did that.  I made those flukes like that because I felt that the zoom fluke is too light and like you said nose heavy.

Making soft plastics sounds like an expensive hobby to start up in. I've never done it, what's your thoughts on it?
