I think I will invent a crankbait with a whistle in it.  Then it could whistle at the bass when it passed them.

I know about this one and have 4 of them and fished them often, they come through the water like a ton of crap, finnally gave some to Crap and if I new you were interested Jack would have sent the other two to you but instead got so mad at then threw them away in the trash.

Why dont you just rig out a whistle as a crankbait. It would be easy! Put a treble/feather trailer on a sampo swibel and drill and insert/glue a small roll pin into the part where you put your mouth on it. Swap the lanyard for a split-ring line tie and glue a CB lip to the thing just below the line tie. Before glueing the lip, play with the angles until it looks good to ya. Wake bait me!

It's a neat concept and idea...but those bass didn't seem to interested in that thing.To be honest i'm not either...
