Kodiak Jointed Minnow
« on: August 11, 2008, 07:53:08 AM »
I just bought some of these....

http://www.fishyum.com/servlet/the-Crankbaits-%28Jomin-dsh-Z%29/Categories

They had them on sale for $1.50 each so I figured what the heck, and bought 4 of them.  They may be crap when I get them but for 4 for a total with shipping of $8.02 I took the risk.

I hardly use hard baits anymore (not that I used a lot before, lol) due to the dang shallow water and weeds around here.  Got tired of de-"greening" my lure on every retrieve.

Neat looking lure, Jack!

I received the lures yesterday and I am pleasantly surprised.   It actually appears to be better quality than I thought it would be.   Hooks appear to be decent quality also.

I will let yall know how they look in the water when I get a chance to use one.

How deep do those things run? With that bill it looks like a shallow diver.

Its mostly for twitching on top, but will supposedly run 1-3 ft.   I will let you know soon.

This is going to be my cheaper alternative to the Jackall Mikey Jr. that I lost.

Have you ever tried those X Rap slash baits in the summer? I’m thinking about trying one this coming weekend.

I have several x-raps and I really like them too.    I wish they made a jointed one.
