Lure companies
« on: February 05, 2006, 03:22:52 PM »
I guess I'm a little slow on the draw.  I was looking at different lures on the web awhile ago, and came upon some info that I wasn't aware of.  I was on the Storm site and saw a link to Rapala listed there.  Come to find out, Storm is owned by Rapala.  They also own Luhr-Jensen and Blue Fox (haven't heard of them before) brand lures.  Rapala (I knew this one :) ) is based in Finland.  Rapala does have a cool website that shows a small video of the swimming action of their baits.

Yea thats just like Pure Fishing.  They own just about everything.  Berkley,  Stren, Spider, ABU Garcia, Fenwick, Mitchell, Johnson, and Red Wolf.

Blue Fox makes in-line spinners. They are like Mepps.
