Musical rods
« on: December 09, 2010, 10:09:18 PM »
I went to BPS today with a bud to the store in Independence.  He started out with a spinning rod for walleye. It was a St. Croix Premiere model. The one he really wanted was the same action in the Avid. After a while he fell weak and decided to fork over an additional 60 or 70 and get it.  Before I could get him out of there the BPS salesman comes along and suggests the BPS carbonlite. It's priced about the same as the St. Croix Premiere. Next thing I know he drops the Avid and takes the Carbonlite to the checkout.  Yea ? Nay ? What say ye ?

I've cast one a couple of times and they do feel really good for the money.
