Mojo rods are made with the same graphite as the Premier as well as the guides and the reel seats for the most part.

They differ in that the Mojo rods are technique specific (bass) and come with a split grip vs. a full grip. Mojos are slightly cheaper too.

They appear to be decent to me on paper but they do not have these rods in any local shops so I have not had a chance to hold them.

They feel nice, better than my Diawa 2 piece Megaforce. BUT my next rod is a Berkley Cherrywood 7 foot medium; you can't go wrong for 23$.  I have all my spinning setups changed over to this series and they act the same in my opinion to the $$$ rods.

Nice rods, but the purple craze ended in 1997.  Purple?? WTF is up with that??

You know what I wish St Croix would do?  Put Alconites on the Premier.  I have a custom,  built on a SCII blank with Alconite guides and it is incredible.  MUCH better than factory Premier.  Those big a$$ double foot Batsons on the Premier casters are killing a very good blank.

Hey crab whats up.    I just picked up a new spinning rod. I was at Bass Pro and picked up and put reels on The mojo rod, a carrott sick, Diawa rod and a Quantum PT all MH 7' rods. I walked out with the Quantum PT rod. It just felt better Quality wise in my hands.
