A few people complain of it being on the heavy side.Honestly, you really can't feel it once you get a reel on.It balances out nicely with that daiwa on there.

I fished most of my life with broomsticks. When someone complains about a .3 or .4 oz. I have to wonder about them. That was probably the top selling point for me when I went to baitcasters. The balance/weight/power with these rigs is truly remarkable. I wouldn’t know how to act if I got a really good setup.

Does anybody know where I could find a baitcaster with the handle on the left side and not the right?   ???

Landis, many many baitcaster reels come in left hand versions.    Just look around on Bass Pro, etc, and most will also show a left handed version also.

Most Daiwas the last digit on the model number ends with "L" and on most Shimanos the last number of the model # is usually a "1" for left handed versions.

If you are looking around the Tusc. area Woods-n-Water and Academy have left handed models and I think they may have a few on sale. I would try Woods-n-Water first because they have last years Pflueger and Shimano reels on sale now.

WOW, that is a hot looking rig!  I think most splitgrip rods feel a bit tip heavy to begin with.  My 6'6" MH mojo was pretty tip heavy until I put a Citica 100 on her, now she balances out really nice.  I hope that rig works out really well 4 ya!
