Quiet night here
« on: November 26, 2005, 06:40:51 PM »
Just got back from seeing the family for Thanksgiving, not much going on here...guess I will do the next best thing..start on my fall clean up! How many of us got lures we never used, bags of worms never opened. I guess tonight I am going to try to down size from 4 tackle boxes to 2. Then tomorrow I will test my theories by going fishing and leaving half my tackle here! I feel naked already.....haha

I need to get me some baggies and put some of my old worms and crankbaits  in and find me a tote to put them in and then find a place to put them hard to do when you varly have a place to put your boat

Hi,
I started some fall tackle cleaning and organizing about 3 weeks ago.
As some here might know I use crankbaits..lots of crankbaits.
I sorted out some that I either didn't like, had dupes of, couldn't catch fish on, had minor tuning snags, etc.
I figured since I was not going to mess with them anymore I would sell some on E-bay.
No fancy brands but lots of Rapalas, Rebels, SK and others.... I sold 2 lots of crankbaits, more than 200 crankbaits total.
That was nice as there became a small bidding war which I throughly enjoyed watching.
That was my first experience with selling onE-bay...I had fun.

I need to clean the floor in the basement as it looks like a bomb went off with all kinds of misc.
plastic worms and bags all over. Hooks are next on the  list of 'things to organize'.
It does feel good after the work is finally done.
Then the fishing shows will start and I will buy some more crankbaits...:)

No space heater so the tackle didn't get done tonight, but I do like the e-bay idea

Same here with the tackle situation. Really unorganized, stuff everywhere. I have a new tackle bag and about a month of sitting on my butt (going in for surgery) to get it organized. Hopefully by spring I'll have downsized things a bit and done a lot of eBaying. Of course eBay will just give me money to go and do it all over again  ::)

Yep, I need to do that organizing an cleaning deal too.  I usually just throw lures in my boxes when I'm done, not much organization :idiot

Hey guys...I haven't been on as much as I'd like but now I have high speed and I've splerged and bought the wireless connection so I can be on the internet and the Mrs. or kids can be as well.

I've got my laptop on my lap and I'm still connected to highspeed in my house.  I think thats awesome while teenagers think I"m outdated :ugly

Anyway, I'm spending all my time on the boat manufacturers sites and I'm leaning on a Ranger Z 21 Commanche.  The website for them is awesome and I just built and designed my color scheme.  It rocks.  I will pick around 3 colors and then learn how to post the pictures on the site.  I will be checking from time to time tonite so bring on the banter.
HOPE ALL'S WELL IN YOUR LIVEWELL!
