Yea I was thinking the same.   If the AN40 is any better than their old copolymers I used to use then I am sure it is a great line.

You could get a small spool and try it out before you get a big spool of it

I used it when it first came out. (17lb.)

It was tougher than nails in warm water. You literally could not break the stuff on a dead pull.
