Its kind of a drift fishing technique. Buck Perry came to the Fox Chain Of Lakes here in Illinois. At the time the "Chain" was thought to be devoid of big fish let alone any quality Bass. Well he proved the naysaywers wrong. By spoonpluggimg humps in the "Chain" and catching 5 lbers with consistancy. And putting to reast that the "Chain" was dead.  There was an article in the Chicago tribune about it.

  This was years ago I dont remember I think in the 70's. Buck passed away last year I think.
