swimjig tip
« on: September 21, 2009, 02:20:12 PM »
Read an article about swimming jigs in the latest edition of BassWest magazine.  They interviewed two pros that use a swimjig as their go-to search bait,...Fred Roumbanis and another pro named Bill Lowen.
In addition to the usual trailers,..both of them admitted that their first choice for a swimjig trailer is usually a "double-diamond swimbait" (Optimum Bait Co.).  I thought it was pretty curious that both of them were using such an odd-ball trailer,..so I'm guessing that it must be some kinda secret amoungst the touring pro's right now!  (Also, in the article, the author said that they only gave up that info about using the double diamonds after some arm-twisting!!)
So anyways,...now you know and there you go!! ;)
