Toray Line
« on: July 28, 2008, 06:33:51 PM »
I have purchased some of this new Japaneese line Toray off the internet.  This line seems to be very good stuff.  The flurocarbon fishes well on a spinning reel while I have been fishing their nylon on my Carolina Rigs.  I bought it from Anglers Marine out of California.  I have seen some good reviews on the tackle tester site and other publications.  Has anyone used this stuff and what are your results?  Thanks

I have not, but I know some really good line comes out of Japan.

I have always heard Sunline is the best although I have not used it personally.

About 20 years ago I used to be in the graphite fiber and composite business.  Toray came onto the scene as sort of "the new kid on the block" and promptly blew everyone else out of the water within just a couple of years with their technology,....so I would assume that now, if they get into the fishing line business that they are going to have first-rate products!! 8)
If you're a fisherman, ya gotta fish!
